To most students, mathematics is just numbers, equations, and figures. In this course, participants will begin to break down the walls and stereotypes with mathematics through real-world contexts. Whether it is chess, money, music, or outer space, mathematics plays an important role in science, entertainment, industry, and in each of our daily lives. Using digital media, participants will begin to see how to make these connections in their classrooms.
